An Announcement / Why use all natural products

Before my post, here is an announcement.

***
ANNOUNCEMENT: in the next week or so, I plan on reviewing a product for CSN stores and then, providing that same product for giveaway.   Make sure you check in.  I am a big fan of CSN stores and I have been for quite some time.  It is a wall to wall virtually based store that sells any product you can think of.

Being a working mother, I still like to cook and entertain in my free time and one of my favorite CSN stores is their Modern dining room furniture store.  I don’t do traditional and modern to me is something that defines the modern woman and the modern woman is generally a working mother.

Woodbridge Home Designs 3219 Series
No matter what you are looking for, CSN Stores is always your best bet.   The items in their All Modern collection  offer several delivery options and I personally think that is what makes CSN stores stand out.  Generally, you do not get these types of options with other online furniture stores.  For example, this adorable Woodbridge Home Designs 3219 Series 5 Piece Counter Height Dining Set has four different options for delivery, (1) a basic truck delivery, (2) an inside delivery, (3) a room of choice, arrangement, removal of packaging, and (4) White Platinum option which all three with additional options.   The price range for the delivery options is reasonably priced as well.

I love CSN stores and I continue to spread the love for these guys because I know that they stand by their products and their services. Make sure you check in a week for the review and the giveaway on a CSN stores product.

WHY USE ALL NATURAL PRODUCTS

Why I use natural products

Nature is beautiful and good for you.
My toddler inherited from me a crappy immune system and sensitivity to unnatural products and learning through trial and error what products are best suited for our skin and bodies has definitely been an adventure at my home.  It was, however, only after my diagnoses with rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia that I started to get a grasp of how important natural products are to those of us with sensitivities.  I had experimented with products that supposed to be “organic” and “natural” but didn’t really get the results I wanted, and it was not until I met Sheila at My Aventine, that I actually developed an understanding of how natural works and how to make the best choices among products that are marked all natural and/organic.

Nature is unique because it provides well for us and there are a lot of products out there including food, skin and body products and cleaning products that are made of all natural ingredients.  However, most people do not realize the significance of their products and how to decipher the fact from fiction. I don’t always know whether a product is naturally legit, but I know that if the ingredients sound like that they blog in a science lab, the product does not pass the natural/organic test.

What types of natural products are there?

Food products are generally the first thing that comes to mind when we think of natural or organic.   Eating natural and organic is important to provide immune system support.  For example, organic pasta is in a more natural state but grains consist of refine and while flour products.  Another example is cow’s milk and meat.  When cows graze on nature in their pastures, their meat and milk is high in CLA or Conjugated Linoleic Acid which helps our bodies reduce fat and inhibit cancers while also lowering bad cholesterol and supporting our immune systems.

Body care products including prescriptions, soaps, lotions and shampoos are absorbed into our bodies through our skin.  If you use a natural soap made of natural oils and herbs, you are absorbing good stuff but a soap made of chemicals is not good stuff for our bodies to absorb through the skin.  Many autoimmune diseases are a result of the body’s response to toxins among some other factors.

The use of natural products at least allows our bodies to reduce the amount of toxins that go in whether it is food and water or various body care products.  You can even find all natural cleaning products and there many out there that are reasonably priced.  You can reduce your exposure simply by making use of all natural products.   You don’t have to drastically make changes – you can replace one item at a time.

Eat natural and organic to best support your overall health.  Being someone with a crappy immune system, I know all too well that making wise choices is better in the long run. Eat natural and organic and drink clean.  Use natural care body products and naturally made cleaning products.  There is so much exposure out there because of toxins that already in the environment so do yourself a favor and try to reduce the amount that you put in your bodies and the bodies of those you love.

I plan a couple natural products reviews.  Look for those posts this weekend.

  1. I am slowly integrating natural products into my way of life. I clean my home with only vinegar, baking soda, and mild dish soap.

I try to buy more organic foods but living on a budget can make it difficult. So I do the best I can and try to buy local organic produce.

My biggest weakness is beauty products. I love lotions, makeup, etc. I just recently bought some organic makeup online and I love it. I often think that my RA was triggered by something environmental...

Looking forward to reading more of your blogs!
